KIA TUPU KIA HUA KIA PUĀWAI

Te Tahua o Rangitāne has a wide range of programmes and services to support whānau success and achievement through enterprise. Our experienced team can help and guide with these programmes and services.

Kurahaupō Business Directory

Kurahaupō was the waka that brought Rangitāne to Aotearoa and is a fitting name for our new E-Directory where we promote whānau businesses for FREE.

Show your support for Rangitāne whanāu businesses by checking out our business directory. below.

 Kia Puāwai

This programme looks to support small-medium sized whānau owned businesses who are at start-up phase or within their first 12 months of trading by providing a wrap-around support package which includes access to business mentors, financial and compliance support, Xero accounting training and support, back-office resource support and networking opportunities.

Employment Support and Casual Labour Hire

Te Tahua o Rangitane seeks to provide a holistic approach to supporting Māori and other groups, into rewarding and sustainable employment by minimising the barriers that stand in their way. We do this using three services:

Temporary Labour Supply
We provide medium-term labour supply to work sites across Tamaki nui-a-Rua, and partner with construction and infrastructure projects to support local labour requirements whilst providing whānau with entry level opportunities into employment.

Temporary to Permanent Transitions
We provide temp to perm labour supply solutions to business sites by partnering with employers to support their labour requirements through a temp to perm agreement. This is to enable whānau a pathway to progress within the industry and to support organisations to meet their social and labour force outcomes, with the support of one of our navigators.

Tautoko Tangata
This pre-employment service was developed to support whānau on their journey to finding, sustaining and thriving within employment that has a pathway to long term employment.

Upon registration with the service, candidates will also meet with a dedicated pastoral support Kaimahi who identifies their employment goals, any barriers and support them. We partner with our sister organisation Te Kete Hauora o Rangitane for the pastoral care aspect of this programme. This may include visits to potential workplaces and support into employment.

The assessment allows the Kaimahi and candidate to develop a training plan, self-care plan and short-term, mid-term and long-term goals in alignment with an employment pathway plan.

Tautoko Tangata is a mixed-mode delivery service. This means that we stay connected with you through scheduled face-to-face visits, training workshops, phone, email and social media platforms.

Tautoko Tangata with walk alongside both the candidate and employer for up to 6 months (subject to need) and are happy to stay connected with our whānau once in employment if they require additional support.

For more information about the service or to register, feel free to Shaun on 021 751 932 or alternatively send us a message on info@tetahua.co.nz.
