A chartered accountant working with a diverse range of clients and industries throughout NZ Aaron loves the energy of business and the connection with his iwi. ’Tech savvy’ with a real interest in innovation and seeing our region punch above its weight, he is very involved in the community and serves on the governance boards of multiple community organisations. 
 
Aaron loves the outdoors, is very involved in sport and recreation and has a young family with his wife, Emily.

Mavis Mullins is the Chairperson for Rangitāne o Tamaki nui-a-Rua and has attained numerous roles and awards in the past two decades, highlighted by an MNZM for services to the wool industry in the Queen’s Birthday Honours of 2002.
Born and raised within Tararua, Mavis has many notable achievements in her career, not only through the wool handling industry where she is well known and respected but also on the international business stage. Her advances in the commercial sector are also recognised and reflected in the many directorship roles she currently holds.

In 2015 Mavis was made honorary associate of UCOL. Amongst this high profile, very busy and demanding life, Mavis have raised four wonderful children and is grandparent to 14 mokopuna, all whilst maintaining an active role in the family farming business.

Stephen Paewai - Trustee

Stephen lives in Dannevirke and is a trustee on numerous boards including Rangitāne o Tamaki nui-a-Rua, Te Tahua o Rangitāne and Think Hauora.
Active in health leadership and community activities, Stephen brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and connections to the Te Tahua Board.

Taylor served in the NZ Army for 21 years specialising in infantry operations and the provision of training and education, retiring at the rank of Staff Sergeant, and then working  within  the construction industry. 
Currently employed as the Senior Evaluator Operations Team Development for the New Zealand Defence Force and operating companies encompassing dairy farming and residential properties.

In these various roles he has been exposed to, and have worked with, a multitude of government departments, local council bodies, regulatory agencies, and tertiary education providers holding qualifications in Adult Education, Business, Farming, and Carpentry.

Shaun lines - General Manager

Shaun coordinates the team and works closely with partners and stakeholders advance the activities of Te Tahua o Rangitāne on a part-time basis.
Self-employed with his own training and design businesses, he has held senior management roles and serves on the board of several charitable trusts.
 
Passionate about supporting good people to achieve great things and working hard with others to achieve great outcomes drew Shaun to work with Rangitāne in the belief that we all have a part to play in building a positive community outcomes.
 
He has presented numerous times at the regional and national not-for-profit sector conferences for the past sixteen years and in his spare time, enjoys cycling, sailing, motorcycling, travelling, and indulging every whim of his two dogs – Buddy and Tilly.
